A very warm welcome to The Golden Lion, Corbridge

An historic public house built in the mid 18th century with stone from nearby Dilston Hall that was dismantled in 1768. We have created a family run country pub in the heart of the village where people feel relaxed in comfortable surroundings. A cosy place for coffee, a drink or tasty home cooked food and somewhere to socialise and wile away a bit of time.

Our hope is that you will find our team warm and friendly and our food delicious and satisfying and when it’s cold outside we’ll have the fires roaring.

The family has deep roots in the local community and has worked in the village for over a quarter of a century.

We look forward to seeing familiar faces and also welcoming new ones.
